Nigerians are known for always turning serious matters in jokes, nothing is free from being mocked and taken for granted in Nigeria.  Even the trending corona virus isn't safe ,I think it would regret ever entering Nigeria with the way Nigerians are going about it.  Here is a picture of how Nigerians are preventing the virus

How to preserve your plantain

Are you tired of your plantain getting over ripe before you use it for anything or getting spoilt quickly??
To reduce the ripening process, you can cut your plantain and put in a plastic bag and refrigerate or just put it directly in the fridge. The ice would reduce the ripening process.
You can also tie the heads of the plantain together.  Try It and see.

See this African tribe that had a culture of elongating their head for beauty

In northeastern part of present day Democratic Republic of Congo, there live a group of people, the Mangbetu.

Among the things they are known for - their music, cannibalism et cetra, one thing made them stood out, especially during the time when the Europeans were ruling them.
The Mangbetu people had a distinct practice called Lipombo. This is a practice of wrapping a baby's head with cloth to make the head elongated.
This enlongation of the head first started as a status symbol among the ruling classes until it became a thing of beauty among the tribe
However, this practice started to die off from the 1950s when it was outlawed by the Belgian government, their colonial masters.
Take a look at some of their pictures:

I bet you didn't know about them
